THE MESSAGE  is a fresh and contemporary translation of the Bible by Eugene Peterson.  Although Eugene has past on, his work remains with us.  It is powerful and dynamic, true in spirit to the Scriptures.  It is beautifully illustrated by a very talented team of artists with line drawings which illustrate the text and can be coloured in while listening to the Word.  There are 300 such drawing and there is much evidence to suggest that having something to do with your hands allows you to listen more easily.  One cannot but help but be thankful for such a literary work.  It would make a wonderful gift but better yet, buy one for yourself and read it...    ...or buy two, one for yourself and one for a friend.  You will benefit in so many ways from this purchase.
